The 'BIG DAY' is just around the corner. Come out and
help us to raise awareness and funds to find cures for childhood
cancers. We are down to our final preparations and are hoping for huge
turnout and great weather. A special thanks to all of our sponsors for
their support with our event and especially Watts and the gang at REVOLUTION CYCLES
for being our shop sponsor again this year!!! Last year we raised over $6500.00 for
CureSearch NCCF. We hope to be able to raise even more this year.

10th Annual Nicki's Ride & Walk

Please join us in raising funds for CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF). The mission of CureSearch NCCF is to raise funds and awareness to conquer childhood cancer. These funds support the work of the Children's Oncology Group, the leading organization of doctors and scientists dedicated to discovery and compassionate cures for infants to young adults with cancer at over 200 institutions throughout North America and abroad.
Event Information
The Routes
* Start/Finish will be at Shelter #1 in Bur-Mil Park off Owls Roost Road in Greensboro, NC
* Cyclists routes are 25 or 50 miles along with a fun walk through scenic Bur-Mil Park
* There will be a rest stop along the routes
* SAG support will be provided for riders needing assistance
* Route maps will be available the day of the event
Registration
* Donations will be collected the day of the event (Donations are tax deductible). If unable to attend, donations should be mailed to CureSearch for Children's Cancer, 5970 Fairview Road, Suite 718, Charlotte, NC 28210 or on-line at www.nickis-ride.com.
* There is no registration fee or minimum donation required.
* Please make checks out to CureSearch for Children's Cancer, include on the memo line "Nicole Cox Memorial Bike Ride"
* Registration will be held the day of the event beginning at 8:30am. The ride wil leave at 9:30am RAIN or SHINE.
* Sponsor sheets are available and can be obtained by email.
Release of Organizers & Sponsors
* A release form must be signed by each participant the day of the event. All participants 18 or under must have the release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
* All riders must wear an ANSI approved helmet.

Our Story
Our youngest daughter Nicole, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 10 months. It was devastating to our family to see our hopes and dreams vanish overnight.
Nicole fought the disease with courage, laughter, and without complaint for over 2 years. Her battle was lost on June 29, 2002.
Our family continues to fight her battle and has organized this ride in memory of Nicole and the unconditional love she brought to us.
We want to make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer, by raising funds in Nicole's memory to be used toward and finding cures. It is our HOPE that other families affected by childhood cancer can realize their hopes and dreams for their children through our efforts and your generosity.
